Belo Horizonte, Brazil - 20th September 2023.
The vice president of the Brazilian club Flamengo, Mr. Marcos Braz, became embroiled in controversy yesterday afternoon at a Rio de Janeiro mall.
After being approached by a fan of the club and questioned about the team's poor performances, Mr. Braz, who was accompanied by two security guards, allegedly assaulted the young man, who was unable to defend himself.

It's worth noting that Mr. Braz is also a city councilman in Rio de Janeiro, and at the time of the alleged assault, he should have been at the City Council. In fact, there are images circulating on the internet suggesting that Mr. Braz had confirmed his presence at the "house of the people" but was not actually there.
Despite all the commotion, according to Flamengo's legal vice president, Mr. Dunshee (son of a club president from the 1980s), he claimed that Mr. Braz was the victim and will not be dismissed from the club.
